Overview
Direct mode lets Kintech_EA trade by itself on your MT5 account. You enter one or more EA Setup codes that you receive from KintechAsia. Each setup is a ready-made trading plan (strategies, money management, maximum loss) that runs on the symbol of the chart you attach the EA to.
Your settings stay on your computer. The trading plan comes from the KintechAsia server, so improvements reach you without reinstalling the EA.
Requirements
- MetaTrader 5 (desktop, Windows) that stays online - a VPS is recommended.
- A Hedging account. Netting accounts are refused.
- An active Kintech license for the account number. It is granted the first time the EA connects:
- 10 years for a REAL account opened through our partner link at RoboForex or Exness;
- a 7-day trial for other REAL accounts; demo accounts get a long trial automatically.
- The Kintech_EA.ex5 file and at least one EA Setup code.
1. Install the EA
- In MT5 open File > Open Data Folder, then go to MQL5 > Experts.
- Copy Kintech_EA.ex5 into that folder (a sub-folder such as KintechEA is fine).
- Back in MT5, right-click Expert Advisors in the Navigator and choose Refresh.
2. Allow the server address
Open Tools > Options > Expert Advisors and:
- Tick Allow algorithmic trading.
- Tick Allow WebRequest for listed URL and add:
- https://trader.kintech.asia
- http://trader.kintech.asia
- Press OK, then make sure the Algo Trading button on the toolbar is green.
Without this step the EA shows "No connection to the server" and does nothing.
3. Attach the EA to a chart
- Open the chart of the symbol you want to trade, for example XAUUSD. Any timeframe works.
- Drag Kintech_EA onto the chart.
- Common tab: tick Allow Algo Trading.

- Press OK. The Kintech EA panel appears in the top-left corner of the chart.
4. Enter your setups (SETTINGS tab)
The first time, the panel opens on the SETTINGS tab.

Press SAVE & APPLY. New setups connect immediately. CANCEL discards changes that are not saved.
Settings are saved for this account and symbol on this computer. They are still there after you restart MT5 or attach the EA again.
Removing a setup. Delete its code and press SAVE & APPLY. If it has no open orders it is removed at once. If it still has open chains it shows REMOVING: it opens no new chains, keeps managing the open ones until they close, then leaves the chart by itself.
5. Read the SETUPS tab
Each setup has a card:
- Header: setup code, status, and a TRADE ON / TRADE OFF button for this setup.
- Info line: version, run number and magic number. Auto lot: 0.02 appears when the setup sizes the start lot from your balance.
- P/L: profit of all open orders of the setup. MAX LOSS: the loss at which everything is closed. SPREAD: current spread. SERVER: time since the last server answer.
- Slot table: every strategy (slot) of the setup with an ON / OFF button, the open chains (B = BUY, S = SELL) and the current signal.

Virtual orders. Some setups start real orders only from a later level of the chain. The chain column then shows two numbers, for example B7/3: the full chain has 7 levels and 3 of them are real orders.
6. Stop or pause trading
- DISABLE TRADE (bar at the top of the panel): no new chains on any setup of the chart. Open chains keep being managed - new levels and take-profit included - until they close. Click again to enable.
- TRADE ON / OFF on a setup card: the same, for one setup only.
- ON / OFF in the slot table: the same, for one strategy only.
These switches are saved on the KintechAsia server for your account, so they survive restarts.
Do not close single orders of a chain by hand and do not remove the EA while chains are open. The EA manages a chain as a whole - take-profit, new levels and maximum loss depend on every order of the chain.
7. Maximum total loss
Every setup has a maximum total loss in money. When the open orders of the setup reach it, the EA closes every order of the setup and shows PAUSED with a RESUME button. Nothing new opens until you press RESUME. If the server cannot be reached at that moment, the EA still closes everything by itself.
8. How orders look
- Comment: KintechAsia-XAUUSD01|3 = symbol, slot 01, level 3 of the chain.
- Magic number: 9 + account number + run + slot. Do not change it.
- When a chain is closed, all its orders are sent to the broker at the same moment.
9. ERROR LOGS
The ERROR LOGS tab lists problems, newest first. A short connection drop is only written in the MT5 Experts tab; it reaches ERROR LOGS when it lasts more than about 10 seconds. CLEAR empties the list.

10. Backtesting
Kintech_EA does not run in the Strategy Tester. Use Kintech_EA_Backtest for backtests.
